Mount Broderick

There’s something to be said about this place, Yosemite Valley. Such a vast and rich climbing history, and so, so much rock. It’s hard to believe that there are still unclimbed routes out here, but there are. Lots.

Three days ago (yes, the day after getting back to the Valley from Half Dome), I embarked on a three-day trek to Mount Broderick, where I was lucky enough to be there when my newest friend, Brandon Adams, successfully topped out the last pitch of the newest route to grace the already books of Yosemite. Thugz Mansion goes!  Great freaking job, Brandon!

Stay tuned to learn more about another potential route to be put up by yours truly, and this guy, Tito K. Krull! Who ever said jugging over a roof was easy?
